LONDON (GBR), FIG Office, August 3, 2012: It is day seven of the Gymnastics events at London 2012 and enthusiastic spectators have been witnessing fantastic competitions at the sold-out North Greenwich Arena over the last days.

Nothing compares to being in the arena in person, to watching Gymnastics action live and to feeling the goose bumps, when your favourite gymnasts or teams are competing. It remains a priceless and magic experience!

However, seats are limited to 16,500 at North Greenwich Arena and with millions of Gymnastics fans worldwide all keen on being part of these Games, television coverage and internet streaming are indispensable.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) compiled a list of broadcasters worldwide that transmit the images taken by the Olympic Broadcast Service (OBS) at London 2012.

In addition, the IOC streams live London 2012 images free of charge in 64 territories across Asia and Africa on its YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/olympic. Click here for details!

Rounding up this service, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) offers free internet live streaming of London 2012 images across Europe (except Italy) and North Africa. Archived footage of past events can also be viewed. Connect to http://www.eurovisionsports.tv/london2012/ and select your channel!

Fans in the United States enjoy special television and internet coverage from NBC, who produce their own images at London 2012. Find out more at http://www.nbcolympics.com/sports/index.html.

With the broadcast rights of the Olympic Games belonging to the IOC, the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) will not be producing footage of London 2012. However, Gymnastics fans can follow the action on Twitter via @officialFIG while on Facebook they can view photos at www.fig-photos.com, and connect to http://www.london2012.fig-gymnastics.com for all event-related information, including news stories, schedules, gymnasts’ biographies, statistics, start lists and results.

Enjoy Gymnastics, enjoy the Games!
